Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has been launched last week. This is Microsoft’s second time that they have taken on the work of coming up with a foldable phone. It must be said that there is a lot of changes in this one from the previous one but that is what makes this one better than the other. They have taken into account the drawbacks of the first one and then worked on the second take of the phone. We must say that they did seem to take this very seriously.
It is very different from the Samsung galaxy flip smartphone or even any one of the galaxy series. It is indeed very different. It does not just fold to make the phone a small tablet. Microsoft did not like that idea so they decided to go bigger.
This one is more like a foldable small laptop though not completely of course. It has a wide display and is less flexible. It is very different than what we had expected, however that does not make it a bad thing. If you look at the features then you will find that it is quite good.
Microsoft had always been known to not do something the conventional way or a way that is similar to others. They always like to stand out and be the unique one out of the bunch and that is what they are most known for.
Others follow Microsoft but Microsoft had hardly ever followed someone else or tried to copy and go after a conventional idea. We think that Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is one very good example of that.
Samsung’s folding smartphones are the best in the market in terms of demand now but there had been a few unexpected problems along the way. Now there had been numerous cases where the folds seem to be shattered or dressed if you may. Many customers are unhappy about it. But this is a new feature, it will take some time to get used to and then get the perfect fold. That’s all that there is to it.
