Solution 1: Re-create Page File

This is the first and the foremost solution which you can try if you want to get rid of this error. To speed up your system, disk space is used. Your window always uses the disk space of your hard disk to speed up the system and for this, it creates a page file in your device.

The thing is that to get rid of this issue you should recreate this page file.

Step 1: As a first step, you have to disable this page file. To do this, first, you have to hold Windows Key and Press R. Then, in the Run dialog, you have to paste SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe and press Enter button to open it.

Step 2: After that, In the option of System Properties -> Click on the Advanced tab then under Performance, click Settings. Then, you have to choose Advanced again from the new dialog that opens up. Clear the check box for Automatically managing paging file size for all drives.

Step 3: Now, you have to select No paging file and Click Set. If any warning message appears on the screen, confirm it. After that, click on OK > OK > OK to close all the windows. Once it is done, restart your system.

Step 4: After restarting your device, you have to repeat all the above steps to go back to the virtual memory. Now, you have to select System managed size and click on Set. Also, you have to check the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives box at the top.

Step 5: Then again, Click on OK > OK > OK to close all windows and again restart your system. After doing and following all the steps above, you have to check whether all the corrupted and chunk data and files are deleted or not. And if it is not, you are still facing the same error then you should move to the next solution.

Solution 2: Run chkdsk

To implement this solution, you have to run chkdsk. Basically, chkdsk is a type of disk that will check the utility in your Window which is used to search and fix errors in the file system.

Step 1: To do this, firstly you have to click on Start, then type cmd there, right-click on it and choose the Run As Administrator option from there. After that, just type chkdsk /f /r and press Enter button.

Step 2: It will start running. After some time, if it shows a message that “The drive is locked and if you would like to schedule a chkdsk on the next restart, then you have to type in Y which means yes” then type Y and press Enter button.

Step 3: Now, you have to restart your PC and let the chkdsk run. This will help you in deleting all the chunks of data and also fix the error which you are facing.

At last, you are advised to check whether the error is fixed or not. If not, then try the other solution.

Solution 3: Run System Restore

Step 1: To run the system restore, you have to hold the Windows key and press R. Then, in the Run dialog, you have to type rstrui.exe and press Enter button.
