Rihanna, already a national hero in Barbados, a pop sensation, an entrepreneur, a billionaire, and a new mother, has now become the youngest self-made billionaire in 2022, according to Forbes.

However, the former pop star turned cosmetics magnate is no newcomer to Forbes’ millionaires club.

Rihanna Net Worth

The American business magazine first estimated her to be a billionaire in August 2021, but it wasn’t until 2022 that they officially included her among the top one percent of wealth holders worldwide. The Fenty founder was included on Forbes’s list of the richest people in the Caribbean.

With a net worth of US$1.4 billion gained from music, for which she originally became renowned, and her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, created in 2017, Rihanna joins 23 other women to grab the 21st spot on the Self-Made list.

The singer, who some have called the sole true self-made billionaire on the 2022 list, spoke to Complex in 2021 about her desire to motivate people from modest backgrounds like her own.

She had said, “I know where I’ve come from, and it’s hard to even acknowledge that’s where you’re at.”

“At the same time, it’s rewarding to be an example for young ladies and gentlemen who, like me, come from modest beginnings, whose parents are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves,” she said.

After six years without a new album, National Hero finally delivered on her pledge to grow her Savage X Fenty lingerie line with various store openings around the United States. Stores in Las Vegas, Houston, and Philadelphia are included.

Last Words

The businesswoman disappeared without a trace until last week; she has since been sighted at a performance for her partner A$AP Rocky and a barbershop in London, but she is likely spending her time as a mother and homemaker.
