TikTok owner ByteDance’s finance chief is going on and has taken a decision for himself. He is going to step down on the hand to focus on the role that he is going to have taken on the role as the CEO of the short video app. Shou Zi Chew had been part of the company as he had joined ByteDance as a CFO. This is where we know that he came from a smartphone maker company known as Xiaomi in March.

The move that is being made right now and the change that is tumbling in is all part of a broader reorganization that is going on already and halfway through taking place within ByteDance. They are making an internal division in which six business units have already been graphed out, selected, and they had been created.

The first business unit has been selected and made public. If you are curious, then it is the Douyin, this is the Chinese version of TikTok. If you are confused by the name, we assure you that it is TikTok, the same app but just under a different name. Thus they are also going to include ByteDance’s Toutiao news aggregation service.

Other units that are going to have to be included in this said work collaboration are going to be some of the major units like those that will make a difference in this plan. As far as we know, it is going to be division Lark, education business Dali and they are also going to include the enterprise technology platform BytePlus.

The Nuverse business is coming on board, and they are going to be the ones who will focus on ByteDance’s gaming efforts, there are also going to be other units, and one of them is going to be the TikTok one.
